Two thumbs up, DFA!

Shame on me, I said and posted to my facebook account today. Asked me why? Well, at this age I dont have a passport yet which barred (aside from budget) me from traveling abroad.

I decided to schedule last november an appointment with the DFA for passport application. Hence, there is a great perception that getting one is a tiring process. Do I have a choice? Today, was the day I scheduled it so its like an adventure to me like what i experience when i took a NBI clearance (i will post this soon).

I arrived in DFA (Diosdado macapagal highway) at exactly 3:15. I was instructed to use the gate 1 as my entrance, Gate 1 serves as an entrance for online applicant. If you are planning the same thing don’t forget to prepare your documents ahead of time. I presented the print-out to the guard (online applicants should print the confirmation email that was sent upon application). After wards, I was directed to proceed to the VERIFICATION TABLE then they signed my application printed application form.

I was asked to proceed for the step 1. Its a lil bit awkward since i thought it was step 2 already. Then, the line is like rows and I started complaining to myself “what the heck is this”. Until I realized that it was not even 15 that I finished the 3 row lane. After presenting legal IDs and proof of identification. I was directed to go to STEP 2. Step 2, is in the 2nd floor and need to present the receipt given at Step 1 and the passport payment. Anyway,at step 1 you will be asked if you want rush or normal process, 950 for normal and 1200 for rush. I paid the step 2 after waiting for 10mins. I got a number for the 3rd and final step. it was then 1177 and my number is 1257.

I asked myself if how fast will it be and while doing some texting with friends lil did I realized that it was my number already and after 5 mins done processing.

All I can say is.. Hail DFA! it was one of the awesome government requirement experience. You truly worth the pay, It was a good service for taxpayers like us. To wrap it up here are the step:

Entrance (present your schedule appointment for online applicants Step 1: Prepare original ID ans photocopies to prevent returning back Step 2: prepare for your payment Dtep 3 ready for verifying your information In a rank which 5 is the highest. I’ll give 4.90 to DFA. I supposed to rate it 5 however due to not so cold aircon at the 2nd floor i dropped it to 4.90 to

However, I hope all the Government agencies are this efficient! Bravo!

I think BALER is destined to me.

Why?

First, When I tried to research for places to travel in North Luzon I dont have any Idea about Baler. Although I heard stories about it, But I never considered it as my destination.

Second, When I posted where to travel and started to research about it. I found a blog that helps me with all the information I need.

Third, When I applied for leave and do the math for my budget. I got all the approves and resources I needed.

fourth, When I posted my travel date, a friend message me that they will be going there on the day i posted my travel. She gave me insights after her travel about the place and her experience.

Lastly, I have another tumblr friend who traveled there. Whoa!

It keeps me excited, It gave me sleepless morning (morning is my time to sleep).

I Love Baler1.22.2013
I can’t get over with my Baler experience. Actually, it’s one of the best field trips I’ve ever experienced. First, it’s a three days two nights tour. Then, I was with a set of awesome people. Lastly, the place was really beautiful. Actually, I’m having some withdrawal right now not just because of one specific reason but because of the whole trip experience taken into whole. I mean, it was my first time to actually live as if I’m independent and free to do everything, and yes, we did almost everything. We drank and did sort of stuff from night until the almost morning come. Trekking, nature tripping, beach bonding, surfing, dancing, singing, laughing, rock climbing, eating and eating, and everything, every thing. It’s a great deal, actually. I dunno, I dunno what to feel right now. I miss the place, the people and the experience. Okay, I sound so weird, but I’m just like this in every goodbyes on great times. Life.
The memories will forever live in me. Great evening everyone!

I will experience this very soon. :) High-res
